Explore #8 of the Gigawatts & Megalolz Tour.
After Powerplant Gigawatt and Hotel Allegria, the third location on Day Two of our tour was this wonderful old train, slowly decaying in a siding in a still-live train yard somewhere in Belgium.
I haven’t been able to find any history of this train I’m afraid, so I’ll crack straight on with the photos. My abiding memories of the train were the itchy-as-hell seats, and the absolutely sweltering heat – it was well over 30 degrees outside, mid-afternoon, and we were all stuck in a airless metal tube! I was quite literally dripping with sweat. But it was well worth it, and I’m really glad that I got to see this lovely old gal.
As always, click on a photo to VIEW LARGE.
The decaying and battered exterior gave little clues as to the beautiful interior…
The Gigawatts & Megalolz team, flush of face.
Thanks for looking – I’ve got a huge backlog of reports that I’m frantically working on, so hopefully more locations will be coming in the next few days.
Oh, and in case you hadn’t heard I also have a Facebook Page – please give it a LIKE if you haven’t done so already.
Cheers
